Streets of Hamburg

Wem gehört Hamburg?

»Who owns Hamburg?« The non-profit research center CORRECTIV invites the citizens of Hamburg to research together.

The shop window installation »Streets of Hamburg« shows the number of participants in the research project.Sorted chronologically, each of the chalk colors stands for a district of the Hanseatic city. The daily distribution of quantities and interests in the project can be read on the mosaic. In this way, a new, transparent image of Hamburg was collaboratively created. With each new data set, Hamburg’s housing market became more transparent and the analog infographic larger.

In open action, Hein-Köllisch-Platz was transformed into a play area and canvas for the collected data.
