The negotiation of roles and a politic of feelings in patriarchy
This is a discourse about emotions and politics.
Or is it just emotions,
or is it politicizing emotions,
or is it just politics?
The aim is to highlight the implications of emotions in patriarchy with all its dependencies, especially in the family context. It is not only a critique of the politicization of emotions, but also a critique of existing social structures that neglect the emotional level and prevent the emotionalization of politics. At the same time the possibilities of using emotions as political instruments are explored to counter patriarchy and to search for new ways of protest.
